In a nutshell: we are looking for an ambitious Middle DevOps, ready to work with the fast-growing and highly-loaded product from its very launch. Also, we need a person who is ready to cope with a high level of freedom and decision-making.
If you have a desire to become a Team Lead, be sure that it is quite possible. We will keep on expanding our team ‘till the end of this year.
Technologies: DB: PostgreSQL / MySQL, Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Git: GitLab
Interaction with: founder, PMs, СТО
Important: 2+ years of work experience with DevOps AWS, and the understanding of technologies that we use. Basic knowledge of Python, the experience in Reliability engineering.
English level: Upper-intermediate+ (or intermediate with a strong desire to improve it).English courses are on the company.
Some details: We are a startup “Blockster Holdings Ltd”, based in Miami USA. During the last three years, we have launched three projects:
cryptocurrency DGTX token, capitalization of which has grown thee times since the beginning of this year.
the cryptocurrency exchange “Digitex.io”, that has active users and currently under active development.
in progress — the social network "Blockster", the world's first fully-featured social media platform for crypto enthusiasts.
TASKS:
Configuration and maintenance of AWS for the social media and trading platforms, modernization, and optimization of all systems.
Assistance in increasing the system’s productivity from 1000 requests per second to 400 000
We plan to rebuild the social media’s system from scratch, and, at this point, we provide a total freedom in desision-making
Configuration and scaling
Creation of new modules and their integration into the product
CI/CD process support
Optimization of PostgreSQL and MySQL
Management of the external environment
Investigation and solving of configuration issues
